The 2022 Met Gala kicks off tonight, and hundreds of influential guests are ready to bring their fashion and beauty A-game. ICYMI, the theme is “In America: An Anthology of Fashion,” and attendees are asked to wear outfits that are all about “gilded glamour,” according to Page Six. This year’s event will also serve as part two of the 2021 Met Gala, which was themed “In America: A Lexicon of Fashion,” per NBC New York.

Of course, planning fashion’s biggest night out doesn’t happen overnight—and that goes double for the stars who are about to walk the red carpet. Celebs have been preparing for months, from selecting the perfect ensemble to working with their styling teams to make sure they’ll look their best.

As the hours count down, lots of stars are also sharing their pre-Met Gala beauty routines on Instagram. Kourtney Kardashian, Lily James, Gabrielle Union, Mindy Kaling, and more are already dropping hints about the skincare secrets they swear by on the big day.

Kourtney Kardashian, 43, revealed on her Instagram Story that she visited esthetician Joanna Czech for a pre-Met Gala facial. “Facials with @joannaczechofficial make me happy,” The Kardashians star captioned a short video.

According to her website, a Joanna Czech facial costs anywhere from $350 to $550 and uses LED light, exfoliation, and massage to lift and sculpt your face. Each facial is completely customized for your skin “and no two facials will be exactly alike,” the site explains.

Gabrielle Union, 49, showed off her radiant complexion in an Instagram Story selfie. “Fresh from my @111skin facial and feeling gooooooood,” she wrote.

111SKIN offers plenty of facials, from a microdermabrasion treatment that helps with glow to a Meso infusion facial that hydrates and contours. Their website explains every facial in detail—and lists exactly where you can go get one for yourself.

Seemingly giving herself a DIY red light facial, Mindy Kaling, 42, double checked with her esthetician, Joanna Vargas. “@joannavargasnyc am I doing this right,” she captioned a now-deleted Instagram Story.

LED light therapy is a go-to for plenty of celebs. Experts told Women’s Health that the benefits include a boost in your skin’s cell growth and a more even skin tone. (Sounds like a win-win to me!)

The Starling star Laura Harrier, 32, showed off her stunning skin in a now-deleted Instagram Story. “Obsessed with you @thebeautysandwich #welovecoco,” she captioned the selfie.

The Beauty Sandwich was created by celebrity facialist Iván Pol. It’s “a noninvasive, nontoxic alternative” that takes “a holistic approach to anti-aging and wellness,” according to the brand’s website. Treatments are designed to contour your face using advanced frequency technology. (Apparently, Brie Larson, Lizzo, and Salma Hayek are also fans.)

Laura also posted a snap of her pre-Met Gala lunch, including a seriously good-looking plate of chicken fingers and French fries, according to People.

Add Miranda Kerr to the list of The Beauty Sandwich’s devotees. The model, 39, posted a video from her facial to her Instagram Story while receiving her first treatment of the day.

Next, Miranda went to Ildi Pekar Skin Care, a skin care salon in New York City that offers nine different kinds of facials. She shared a clip of an esthetician applying some product as a finishing touch and tagged the studio in the vid.

After all of that, Miranda also went for a Reiki facial with Nousha Salimi, RN. The facial included the Turmeric Brightening & Exfoliating Mask from Kora Organics, Miranda’s own skincare line. And, crystals near Miranda’s heart and gut kept the energy flowing.
